INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE UPDATE
This was the first RSD International Conference co-sponsored
by two Canadian organizations (CRSDNET, RSDAO) and the RSDSA of
America. Mel Martin, (CRSDNET), Helen Small (RSDAO) and Jim Broatch
(RSDSA) all worked together to "spread the word on RSD".
The conference program was packed with a variety of speakers and
topics, well organized and ran smoothly. Our conference was attended
by 125 participants from Canada, USA and Europe. Participants
also networked with other patients and were able to approach doctors
with questions and concerns. Several doctors sat and listened
carefully to patients.
We would also like to thank the following people who worked behind
the scenes to make the conference run smoothly. Their assistance
was invaluable:
Richard Heyer and Assistant Rob, Adina Monson, Tanya Yardley,
Linda MacMullen, Corinne Mandseth, Delores Mac Eachern, Maggie
St. Aubrey and Judy Baldwin.
