Re-Enactment of the Battles of Lundy's Lane and Chippawa

The Battle of Lundy's Lane (25 July 1814) was the Bloodiest Battle of the War of 1812.
The fiercely fought battle proved to be the high-water mark of the American invasion
in 1814.  After the battle, the Americans retreated to Fort Erie.
Join us at Don Johnson Park on Saturday July 3 for the 190th Anniversary
to see history come to life.

The Battle of Chippawa (5 July 1814) was a prelude to Lundy's Lane.  The battle
is still remembered by Americans as the first time American troops defeated their
British foe "on the plain".  On Sunday July 4, a Commemorative Service will be held on
the Battlefield south of Chippawa followed by a Re-enacted battle.
