Veteran’s Services
Are you a Veteran and have a medical condition that can be related to your Military Service? If so, you may be entitled to a Veterans Affairs (VA) Disability Pension.
If you are currently receiving a VA Disability Pension, when was the last time you had the condition reviewed?
Did you know that you can request a review every two years and if the condition has worsened could result in and increase in your monthly pension and benefits. In the rare instance where a pensionable condition may have improved, your pension cannot be decreased if you are 55 years of age or over.
If currently receiving a VA Pension, do you know what your Spouse’s Survivors entitlements are in regard to Pension, Veterans Independence Program (VIP) etc?
Were you stationed at CFB Gagetown in the 1960s and possibly exposed to Agent Orange being tested there by the United States? If so, you may be entitled to a VA pension.
I don’t have all the answers, but if you would like further information or assistance with any of the above or on any other matter in regard to: VA Programs & Services I’ll do my best to find them for you. Give me a call or leave a note for me at the Branch.
