Knowledge Ontario is a collaboration of libraries, cultural heritage organizations and educational institutions. Its focus is on connecting Ontarians with digital content to support their information and learning needs.

Knowledge Ontario provides electronic resources to library users from two vendors: Thomson-Gale and EBSCO's Canadian Reference Centre.

Your Port Colborne Public Library card gives you access to Knowledge Ontario resources from home. Enter your 14-digit library card barcode number (no spaces) to access Thomson-Gale InfoTrac and EBSCO Canadian Research Centre resources.

Newscan.com's on-line press information service is specially designed for public and academic libraries. It offers access to an impressive database of Canadian and international sources.

The Port Colborne Library subscribes to three local newspapers through Newscan.com: the Welland Tribune, the St. Catharines Standard and the Niagara Falls Review.
