Hike Schedule October 2004

Hints For Hikers

• Call the leader if you are unsure of the location of the hike.
• Remember you hike at your own risk.
  • Warm up first.
  • Hike at your own pace.
  • Know your capabilities.
  • Wear proper clothing and footwear.
• Hiking boots are recommended.
• Wednesday night hikers are advised to wear easily visible clothing and/or reflective strips and carry a flashlight
• Saturday hikers are advised to bring a lunch and a sufficient supply of water.

Hike Pacing:

• Slow , 3km/hr or less,
• Medium , 3- 4.5 km/hr,
• Fast over 4.5 km/hr

Terrain Easy, Moderate, Strenuous.

Note Regular hike times in effect.
