  Logic gates are the basic building blocks from which computer circuits are
  constructed . In this program the computer will simulate the behaviour of the
  five types of logic gates and display the connecting leads.
  The gates available are AND , NAND , OR , NOR , EOR . The unique feature of
  this program is its ability to simulate the behaviour of a sequence of logic
  gates designed by the user . Not only can four gates be connected to form a
  circuit but this circuit can be integrated into a single chip and this chip
  used as part of a new design . It is therefore possible to combine a maximum
  of sixteen gates into a single circuit and simulate its behaviour.

  Designs can be saved to and loaded from disk . Detailed notes are provided to
  enable the user to become familiar with the program and to introduce the
  beginner to the subject . The disk includes the simple designs used in the
  notes and in addition a full adder and binary decoder as examples of more
  complex circuits The latest version of this program has the capacity to
  simulate a wider range of sequential logic designs enabling for example gated
  bistable circuits to be demonstrated.
