CRITERION CAE/CAD SCHEMATIC and PC-BOARD DESIGN SYSTEM (IBM & compatibles) CAT.# 162-D01-38

  CRITERION is a completely integrated schematic and PCB layout system. It
  features extensive analog, digital, RF and SMD support, global block editing
  commands, easy-to-use definable menus, and can handle round boards and curved
  traces. Time-saving macros are easily developed by simply recording command
  entries. Up to 50 design layers may be treated.

  Specific capabilities include:

  * Grid resolution of 1/00 microns to 10,000 mils. Grid size up to 64K by 64K.
    Part rotation in 0.1 degree steps. 0.5 mil resolution trace width and
    spacing. Up to 64" x 64" board at 1:1.
  * Up to 50 named PCB design layers. Named layer design data may be carried
    between jobs. Schematic: 1200 nets, 1000 symbols, 5000 connections, 10
    layers.PCB/RF/ANALOG/FLEX layout: 2000 parts, 12000 pins, 2000 nets, 50
    layers,  10 hierarchical  layers.
  * Extended attributes for 16-character part numbers. Capacitor and resistor
    values, with tolerances, may be added to parts in database. Easy PART/REF
    DESIGNATOR/NET selection by name such as PAD, U1, or CLK
  * Independent layer fill with 24 fill codes, including XOR for transparent
    fill.
  * Easy setup utilities scan graphics and mouse drivers and provide driver
    menus. Includes drivers for over 150 printers (including HP Laserjet) and
    150 graphics cards.
  * Numerous interfaces: Bill of materials; net/wire/signal list output;
    Orcad/Cadnetix netlist input; Gerber photo-plotter output; N/C Drill
    (Excellon) output; GDS-II Stream input/output; pen plotters (HP, Houston,
    CalComp).
  * Commands by menu/mouse or two-letter memonics.
  * Extensive drawing and editing commands (drag, fill, step-and-repeat, grid
    lock, mask, plot, chamfer, move, scale, explode, stretch, round, rotate,
    reflect, route, vector, pan, set view, redraw, zoom, etc.).

  As you can see, a lot of thought and experience has gone into the design of
  this product. Includes a 500-page manual.

  Requires PC/AT (or higher), 640K RAM, an 80x87 math coprocessor, one 1.2
  megabyte floppy and one hard disk, a communications port and mouse, a printer
  parallel port, and an EGA or better (640 x 350 or higher) graphics card with
  at least 256K RAM.
