  DESIGN YOUR OWN TRAIN lets you enjoy model railroading without the expense
  and space requirements usually associated with that hobby. It also allows you
  to build much more elaborate and sophisticated layouts than you might attempt
  otherwise. In addition, you are not limited to just model trains.  You can
  also simulate other transportation systems, such as buses, trolleys, and
  subways.  All of this is accomplished with superb graphics.

  You create your trains, track systems, and scenery using icons, pull-down
  menus, and libraries of pre-drawn shapes. You can even design your own
  locomotives. You will have to follow actual engineering principles in laying
  out your track, or risk a crash! Operation can be pre-programmed, or you can
  run your system manually, throwing every switch, slowing for the curves, etc.

  Features include: 26 operating switches; 4 independently controllable trains;
  99 layout speeds; operating freight stations; library of 100+ scene shapes;
  painting, color-fill, text; and  more!

  Requires 640K RAM (Apple II series), 512K (Macintosh and IBM). Supports (but
  not necessary) mouse (all versions) and paddles/joystick (Apple II series).
  IBM version requires CGA or EGA (or equivalent), and supports Epson/IBM
  Prowriter (or compatible) printer.
