St. Catharines
Please go to our accommodations page. There you will
find a listing of bed and breakfasts ect.. .
Niagara is a relatively small area and towns and cities are close together. Accommodations
tend to get booked early in more well know areas such as Niagara Falls and Niagara on the
Lake. Look at our map and see that a 5 or 10 minute drive will take you to just about any
other area in the Peninsula and you may even save on rates offered.

St. Catharines, incorporated in 1876, is a city of 130,000 located in
the middle of the Niagara Penninsula along the south eastern shore of
Lake Ontario. Its site is believed to have been one of the
most heavily populated encampments of Native Peoples in North
America. The old trail, which was until 1939 the main link between
Buffalo and Toronto, is the present day St. Paul Street, centre
of downtown. More history of St.
