The icon on far right of the iconostasis is always the icon of the patron saint(s) of the church. Our church is called Sts. Cyril & Methodius, therefore the two patron saints are represented on this icon.
The one on the left is the Holy Equal-to-the-Apostles Teacher to the Slavs Cyril, a priest-monk with his head covered. St. Cyril, holding a Cross, reminds us of his missionary work bringing Christianity to the Slavic people. He holds a scroll upon which the cyrillic alphabet is written. St. Cyril composed the cyrillic alphabet, hence the name.
The one on the right is the Holy Equal-to-the-Apostles Teacher to the Slavs Methodius, a bishop. He is holding a book on which it is written: "Blessed is the Kingdom of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit."
